Conference Budget for Successful Conference Planning
Everybody wants to have a smooth and well organized conference. In order to achieve such a successful conference, well prepared planning is a must. One vital element of this planning is the conference budget.
If you don’t have an integrated place to manage your expenses, some vital expenses might slip away between other elements and may lead you to spend beyond your budget. Therefore, you must decide to create a central plan for your conference. There are some tips that may help you construct the accurate conference budget.
First, obtain last year’s conference feedback. If the format of the previous conference was similar to the upcoming conference, all you need to do is to do some editing on the previous conference budget.
Second, separate fixed cost and variable cost. In most cases, fixed cost may not change such as venue cost, audio and video expense and room setups. While variable costs may differ from one period to another such as event organizer fee or keynote speaker fees.

Third, create emergency funds into your budget. It is often that unexpected expenses occur during the conference. So please include at least 15% of total budget for any emergency expenses.
Before executing your conference, regularly review your conference budget so that you won’t miss a single aspect or expenses that are beyond your budget capability.
